The Future of Online Business – What to Do When Your Cell Phone Swallows Up Your House

The future of online business promises to be exciting, profound, and completely unpredictable. Over the last few decades, the pace of change appears to have accelerated. Due to new developments in communications, transportation and technology, the business world is one big jumble of dynamic change and complexity.

No business is immune from the effects of this rapid change. Small manufacturers in the Midwestern United States now have to contend with “manufacturing cities” in the heart of China. Once secure and profitable providers of business process services in India now have to look over their shoulders at upstart Filipino companies.

And it’s not just about international competition.

A spa and massage business in a town near you has to worry about everyone from dentists, to chiropractors and even allergists muscling in on their business. And all this is in addition to competition from “mall massage machines” and add-on services provided by strip mall pedicure providers.

Digital Technology and the Future of Business

Of all the rapid changes going on in the world of business today, none is more potentially disruptive than the advance of digital technology into the lives of consumers through connected devices and the implications for businesses of every kind.

Once upon a time the internet “existed” only on a computer. At least that’s how we visualized it. Today, every owner of a Smartphone or mobile device carries the internet with them. As the trends toward mobile internet and integrated devices picks up steam, many are asking how business will change in a world where the consumer is “always logged on”.

Particularly, what happens when the internet escapes out of the devices and inserts itself more ubiquitously into our every day lives?

For instance, what happens when our shirts are embedded with a microchip that takes readings and tells us our blood pressure and our cholesterol levels?

Today, many cars come equipped with global positioning systems, automatic parallel parking and the ability to map out a path to our destinations and make an emergency call when we need help.

If you’re a busy small business owner, the point of this article is not to get you bogged down in the fantasy playground of an over-caffeinated futurist. Rather, my aim is to point out some practical strategic applications to making detailed observations about the changes in technology and how those changes affect the behavior of the people you hope to sell to – the consumers.

How to Leverage “Ubiquitous Computing” for Business Success

In many of my talks and articles, I share with business owners how to stop fighting uncertainty and prepare their businesses to harness it as a competitive advantage. When it comes to rapid technological change, there are some principles that can help your business to thrive from it rather than to be blindsided by it. Here are a few of my best ideas in this topic.

1. People Will Use Future Technology To Meet Ancient Needs

It is a well tested principle of the social sciences that basic human psychological needs have not changed in millennia and are not likely to change. When you come across a new technology, think about how people are likely to use it to solve an old need. This is especially important if this technology may affect your industry or your business.

2. Keep An Eye On The Trends

One of the most effective ways of incorporating every day innovation into your business is to set up a system for scanning the horizon for new developments. If you own a small business or are an entrepreneurial professional, you can identify special blogs, websites and thought leaders to track with RSS feeds and bookmarking technologies.

If you run a bigger company or organization, consider a systematic process of scenario planning at least once or twice a year. These scenario planning sessions should account for new technologies that have made an entry into your space, and new technologies being tested in adjacent industries.

3. Get Customer-centric…fast

Developing a truly customer-centric business is perhaps the most fool-proof way to make sure that you don’t get blindsided by a “killer app”, or a technology-driven consumer trend that drives you out of business. No matter whether you’re a manufacturer, or a local retail establishment, you can find out what your customers want, and use that knowledge to establish a robust dialogue with them.

Being customer-centric can also help you keep an eye on the new breed of competitor; a competitor who is not nominally in “your industry”, and yet proceeds to put you out of business because they are substitutes for the same “end benefit” that your products or services deliver to the marketplace.

The Business Of Health Care – Managing Your Private Practice: Dr Hlombe Makuluma

In the Garden of Eden, during the fall of man, God asked Adam: “Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?” Adam answered by blaming his wife, Eve. And when God asked the woman: “What is this that you have done?” Eve responded by blaming the serpent. Man’s inability to take responsibility for his wrongs, it seems, was embedded in his genetic makeup from the beginning of time.

In my twenty-five years in private practice, there has been plenty of serpents to blame for my personal and business woes. I was never short of excuses for my failures, shielding myself in the process from my inadequacies. I had also witnessed dozens of colleagues abandoning the medical profession, driven to other fields, and hiding behind similar excuses to mine for their failure.

Some had gone on to thrive in their newly found occupations, but for others, disappointment stalked the rest of their professional lives. For the latter, I am certain no other question tormented them more than: What does it take to win? What does it take to get things right in their floundering medical practises?

Winning in business is a seminal objective since success extends beyond the individual. Not only do our health practises prosper but also our families, children and marriages win. Winning at work can lead to being a champion at home. If for anything else then, that is why the message contained in Dr. Makuluma’s compelling and riveting book is vital. Inspired by his own experience, and profoundly stirred by the doom he witnessed in private practice, the author’s sublime ‘project’ reminds us that success, and indeed failure in health care practice, is often not by accident.

Success, he tells us, is a choice. When we run a race, we should do so with the mind of a champion: and that is do so with a plan to win and not surrender to the myriad business setbacks endemic in the medical profession.

In “The Business of Health Care” Dr. Makuluma gives us his blueprint-a strategy which when properly executed would eliminate flaws in private health practice, unravel the mystery behind success, and lead to victory. The genius of his plan is the sheer simplicity of its precepts. The author readily confronts the complexities of running a medical practice with carefully thought out principles, and with also simple but deliberate language.

From the outset, he jolts the reader with invaluable advice: The key to successfully operate a health practice is to be financially literate. This is the “basic formula”, he writes, for operating any business. On the surface this observation is obvious, and yet it remains the cardinal reason for the failure of many health practises.

It has also been stated repeatedly in several different ways throughout the ages. “A fool and his money are soon parted”: goes the old adage. “The men who can manage men manage the men who can manage things, and the men who can manage money, manage all.” _Will and Ariel Durant, The Lesson of History.

In my practice, I never saw my role extending beyond my skills as a surgeon. My energies were continually sapped by improving my surgical skills. My relationship with my practice as a business, was at best lukewarm. I had, more than most, put in the long hours at work, but I had failed to grasp the very simple notion that I was a ‘health practitioner running a business,’as the author so aptly and eloquently puts it.

As with the unprofitable servant in the biblical parable of talents, my thoughts on money were restricted to the fear of losing it, than in making it. When it came to wealth, and its creation, my mind mostly saw limitations rather than possibilities. Hardship was consequently the fingerprint of my practice, and financial ignorance was engraved in its soul. My professional life was a narrative of unfulfilled dreams.

The Business of Health Care is the strategic omnibus that will undoubtedly carry the modern medical practitioners into the future. It is a well-written and well-researched book, and is destined to be the bible for all doctors going into private practice. In it, Dr. Makuluma, takes us by the hand and offers the treasures and tools of running a successful practise in the twenty-first century.

The author’s ‘project’ is a priceless gift to health practitioners. It is an august framework for success, underpinned by the supremacy of design. Dr. Makuluma provides the implements not just to manage a business, but also to manage life.

After reading the book, it is as if one has suddenly woken up from a nightmare. It is difficult to suppress the indignation at the harm which ignorance has wrought upon our venerable profession. But, now doubt has been supplanted with optimism. One now approaches every day at work, and every challenge, with renewed hopes and sense of purpose.

Ways to Send Internet Fax Anonymously

Sending anonymous fax messages over the Internet to anyone in the world is possible and there are service providers who will help you do it and you need not have to use a fax machine.

Many people use anonymous sending of emails and/or fax messages to their opponents in a revengeful mood to settle scores. Anonymous emailing is an effective method to quell your anger and indignation and relieve you from the heartburn and agitation that anger usually causes.

Medical practitioners agree that lack of proper anger management techniques can lead to tormenting mental disorders in clients. Anonymous email or fax messages let you write about all your bitter feelings about someone or some event to the person concerned to ease your mind. Given the many grave consequences that keeping anger inside you can rear, it is better to express it and release it out of your system forever by means of anonymous email or anonymous fax message.

But remember that sending a hoax fax is a serious offence and will be deemed a criminal act even if you did not intend to. The service providers will obviously not let you to use their service for any illegal activities at any time. So do not try to play antics, get caught and land in trouble. Again, the facility must not be used to threaten someone as it could lead to a police case and the service provider will be forced to reveal your identity if your message is legally objectionable.

Sending an anonymous fax message is quite simple and uncomplicated:

1. Go to the site that offers the facility

2. Click on the “Fax” tab

3. Enter the name of the recipient.

4. Enter the fax number of the recipient.

5. Enter a subject line for the fax message you are sending.

6. Type your fax message into the Message box.

7. Click Send.

8. You can pay by debit or credit card

There are service providers who will allow you to send two faxes (up to three pages long) each day for free, and if you wish to send more, you have the option for a premium fax transmission. These sites are basically supported by ad revenue.

Please remember that there is no way to send an anonymous fax using traditional fax machines – that is from one fax machine to another without the recipient’s machine picking up the sender’s number on its caller ID. So the only option to send an anonymous fax is over the Internet using the Internet fax facility.

In a way this is good as online fax services are lot more convenient to users to generate and send fax messages. There is no need for paper or other consumables – let alone using an expensive hideous fax machine. All you need is a computer with Internet connection and an account with the service provider.

Also know that online faxing services will require you to certainly enter a valid email address, if not register as a member on the site. There are, however, a few websites that exist for the sole purpose of sending anonymous faxes, as well as texts and emails. These sites are also available for anyone to use and has no limit as to how many fax messages you can send. But the disheartening fact is the charges are pretty stiff.

Smart Ways To Business Growth And Expansion

Aim for growth and expansion is what most businesses do especially in a highly competitive business scene. If a business doesn’t work toward those two objectives, it’s basically setting itself up for an early demise for the goal of the competition is to disable the slow and weak. Business growth and expansion can be achieved through following time-tested success principles and these principles create focus for all the efforts aimed at growth, and at the same time, they uphold good standards for every activity executed toward the goal.

If you’re preparing your enterprise for growth and expansion, it’s essential to know what success principles to uphold. To help you with this, listed below are four principles big corporations attest as keys to their success.

First, know that innovation is a must. This indicates that your business understands the needs of your customers and works toward effectively meeting their needs. Innovation is creating something new and great from something that’s already good in order to deliver better value to end users.

Therefore, your business should always study your customers’ journey so you can innovate appropriately. Timing is also very crucial. You can’t be early or late when it comes to growth and expansion. Pre-empting things can spoil their potential, and at the same time a lot of good opportunities are only available for a limited period of time.

You need to be able to take action at the most ideal moment, which is why you need to study provisions carefully, perhaps even seek assistance from advisers or consultant, and be aware of the different financing solutions your business can utilise. Successful people always say that inspired efforts do not deplete energy; rather, they are invigorating. Also, inspiration will enable your organisation to turn setbacks into victorious comebacks.

Stay inspired as you’re working to grow and expand your business because a joyful process never fails to yield the most ideal outcomes. Understand that sacrifices are inevitable but fruitful. There are always sacrifices to be made when you’re aiming for bigger and better things. For your business, this can mean longer hours of work and denying some physical comforts and pleasures for a certain period of time, or scrimping on certain things so resources can be directed toward more important aspects of operations. All in all, these principles will allow you to manage your business more effectively so you can focus on your business growth and expansion.

Your Economy Vs The Economy

You are probably wondering how one can create their own economy. Seems impossible, right? Wrong.

Actually, there are people who are starting successful home businesses every day. You can be one of them. A common characteristic of all these people is their passion for financial freedom. They hate the economy. You see the thing with the economy is that you do not have any control of your destiny.

Just check Omar & Melinda Martin's story. Google them. See how they lifted themselves from being homeless to creating several 7 figure income online businesses and they dominate on JV leaderboards pretty much everywhere.

You, therefore, need to figure how you can create your own economy. The fastest and painless way is to start your online business. Painless in the sense that unlike brick and mortar business a budget of a $ 100 can get you off to a fast start.

Getting started is not that difficult. Just find something you're passionate about and start promoting products in a niche of your choice to earn affiliate commissions.

As you start to see some profits come in you will eventually need to have your own website. It will help you brand yourself where you will become an expert in your niche. You are also in a much better position to build your own mailing list.

Money is always in the list. Post why? You can always keep promoting your own products and affiliate products o your list. They trust you and they will buy from you.

There are several places where you can get training and mentorship for a reasonably priced plan to get you started.

Internet market simply gives you an advantage in that there are many tools that you can leverage to automate and propel your business.

This is how you create your economy and have control over it. You decide how long you want to make and how much money you want to make.

Now let's look at the economy … the one where you do not have control over. Unfortunately, 95% of people think they have no option out of this economy.

How can that be? The internet itself is changing at lightning speed and with that comes many opportunities where the need to offer solutions and services is intrinsically endless.

What Exactly Happens in the Economy?

I am going to break this down in a way you that is easy for you to understand. The economy is a huge system. We all take part in the economy one way or another. However, more than 95% of the people are employed. They work for other people. Building and creating wealth for others in return for wages. These are typical steps in the economy:

Get a Good Education

Schools educate children with one objective in mind. To create a future pool of employment for businesses. Kids are told to get a good education and grades. Possibly obtain a University degree.

Once a person completes almost 16 years of education they proceed to look for a job in the economy.

Mind you some jobs pay better and people get a sense of accomplishment. The overall objective is that your good job will somehow give you some security and you work until you reach your retirement age.

A good job should, therefore, pay you a decent salary, provide with medical, dental and health insurance. Above all, it does guarantee a retirement income from which you can then enjoy the fruits of your labor.

However, what you fail to notice in the economy is that you have just spent the rest of your life creating wealth and building assets for someone else.

You Finally Get the Job And?

Your employer controls your life. You have to commute to work daily leaving your family behind and putting in long hours.

Success at work brings a promotion. A promotion, in turn, brings more workload and stress in your life. Those endless meetings you have to attend, the clients whose contracts you have to service.

All this require more and more of your attention and time. The phone calls never stop coming. Imagine the diary of appointments that you have to keep up with.

Talk about the texts to which you have to respond to.You even risk your life doing so while driving.

Success in the economy comes with a price tag. You have to sacrifice a lot in order to meet the demands and pressure of your job. You spend less and less time with your family, friends and loved ones.

In most cases, most relationships will end up in a divorce as one spouse focuses more and more on the job and less on the relationship.

Yes You Have to Pay your Dues ( Taxes)

In the above setup, you have to pay your taxes. It is a known fact that non-business owners or employees regardless of your job position, pay higher taxes than the business owners or companies.

And there is a reason to that, or so goes the justification.

If businesses pay taxes at the same rate as their employees, they would not be in a position to create employment opportunities. After all, the payroll comes with additional costs such as employer contributions towards your health, dental and pension benefits.

This is the sole reason why most people go on strikes. The employer argues that to increase your salary or wage will result in their inability to expand their businesses and hire more people to meet demand.

They would rather see your wages go down and their profits go up. All in the name of shareholders and since you work for them you could not be possibly be one of them (shareholders).

Actually, employers have more credits than you can possibly imagine. Do you know that they get substantial rebates for WISB for reporting zero or minimal workplace accidents or injuries?

Talk about those long hours you put in for less!

You will have to put in long hours into your work. The schedules seem to balloon each and every day that passes. The more experience you have with your employer, the more problems they expect you to solve.

You salary or wage increments that are just enough to keep you in your present job. After all the economy is just recovering from a global recession. You do not want to be the John Doe that was laid off from their job.

Loss of Control

You typically do not have any control over how you do your work. Your boss controls that. You only get vacation time away when your boss approves. It does not matter how many hours you work or the intrinsic value you bring to your workplace … your wage remains flatlined.

Meanwhile, you have bills to pay, hydro, gas, phone, internet and more. You are hardly making ends meet. You keep falling behind and you begin to think about working a second job. Even this does not rescue you out of your predicament.

The stress levels will begin to peak, your health will start to take a hit and you start calling in.

In a nutshell, it is just so miserable to be working a day job. At the end of your working life, there is really nothing to show for it. Your retirement income will be overtaken by inflation and you continue to play catch up.

That reminds me of a very sad story indeed. I was at a Money Mart years back trying to remit some money back home. I saw a retired gentleman who was arguing with the person behind the counter. There was a dispute about how much he had to pay. From the ensuing conversation, I picked up that the gentlemen was on his retirement retired. His retirement income was not enough and he would fall behind each week.

He would come to this Money mart each week to borrow against his retirement check. When he gets paid he would pay back and then borrow some more money. At the time of writing this article, the cost of borrowing was $ 21 for every $ 100.

You can imagine yourself that this gentleman's financial situation was deteriorating with each visit.

You do not want to be that gentleman. You need to start thinking about how you can create your own economy by leveraging what the internet has to offer.

You do not need any special skills to get started. Anyone can do this.

Getting Started

Getting started like I said earlier is not hard. Do you know something that someone does not know ?. You can earn money from that. All you need to do is to figure out what your passion is. In online marketing working on things you are passionate about will take the job out of your online marketing efforts.

You will be in a position to enjoy what you will be doing and this positively affects your attitude and keeps your motivation floating high.

Learn how to find niches in which you can promote products for commissions, Affiliate marketing is the easiest way to break into internet marketing. You do not need to have products of your own. You simply promote other people's products for a commission. The digital space provides higher commissions and in some cases giving you 100% of the front end product being promoted.

Much of your efforts will be spent in researching your target audience finding out what problems they have. Once you know this, you find a product that helps solve that problem and they buy from your link and you get paid.

It is as simple as that.

In my next article, I will be talking about the several ways in which you can make money online. And there are many ways you can do so. Blogging is one of them.

Conclusion

In the general economy, we all do not have control over events that happen in our pursuit of financial freedom. Events such as recession can result in job losses.

You are basically creating wealth for others in the economy.

You need to look at ways in which you can gain financial freedom. You can only do this by harnessing the power of the internet to create your own economy.

Here, you are your own boss and you can literally print your own money if you do it correctly.

You need to review your mindset and get a mentor so that you can leverage their knowledge to propel yourself on a fast path to internet profits.

So go ahead and get started. Just remember that you will need to put some work initially as you will be in the learning stages. Over time when most things become second nature you just rinse and repeat for more profits.

When you take sustained action you will begin to see some results and you will eventually reach a time when you will replace your day job salary. Now that's financial freedom.

After that the sky is the limit. Many people say … you are only limited by your imagination.

The Pains of Doing Online Business in Africa

Take it or leave it, Africa is a great continent. It is my beloved continent with an estimated population of 1.216 billion people.

There are about 7 billion people with unique skills, talents, knowledge, and experience. God bless humanity.

So, if you think of the right market to sell your goods or services, come to Africa.

This is the optimistic part of this story. It is good to begin 2017 on a positive, optimistic level.

Now, let us come down to reality. The world has gone digital. But, Africa is still slow in moving from analogue to digital age.

Corruption, illiteracy, poverty, lack of social amenities, lack of trust, lack of knowledge on what it takes to run a business online, are some of the factors militating against Africa and Africans.

Internet penetration is 28.7 percent in my beloved continent. Compared to North America with 89 percent penetration level, this is a far cry.

This means North America with an estimated population of 579 million people is more digital than Africa. But, Africa has the market. In fairness, businesses are striving in the continent.

Lots of Africans know little or nothing about online business and think that people who do businesses online are either fraudsters or criminals.

This is not true. There are genuine and fake business owners everywhere, internet inclusive.

Trust has also made it impossible to do business online. With the world becoming a global family, business owners do not need to meet physically to transact business. There are no restrictions in this digital age to running businesses.

Everything and anything could be sold online and money in local and foreign currencies transferred from one part of the world to the other.

But, my good friend in Lagos, Nigeria, who has masters degree from one of the oldest universities in our country know little or nothing about running an online business.

We were discussing yesterday and he told me bluntly that he knows next to nothing about online business.

So, he is comfortable moving his vehicle parts from one place to the other in search of customers.

This is the pains some of online business owners are going through through Africa with great potentials.

But, the pains of not getting enough customers from Africa for your business are a passing phase. Even as the Bible says, this will pass away.

Therefore, in 2017, I am positive that more and more business owners will gain the pains of going from analogue to digital in Africa.

I get the feeling deep down that ten years down the line, the story will change for the better and internet penetration in Africa will rise.

The Evolution of the Telephone

Alexander Graham Bell most likely had no idea that he had discovered what would eventually change the world in more ways than can be imagined. The technology that started out for telephones has led to more discoveries in the telecommunication field that keep people in touch and connected around the world.

The Early Days

On March 10, 1876 Alexander Graham Bell transmitted the first speech using electricity. From that day forward, the telephone system changed every aspect of life. Although it did not immediately change the world, it set communication on a path that would alter the future of communication.

The initial lack of acceptance of Mr. Bell's discovery was due the telegraph being the dominating form of communication and it had been around for over 50 years. This voice across electrical lines that Mr. Bell was proposing was a new and daunting discovery.

In the late 1870's Bell took his public telephone demonstrations on the road in an attempt to raise awareness and public finance for the project. Mr. Bell presented the telephone as a broadcasting system.

Initially, phones connected only two lines. In June30, 188 there were 287 phones installed, by July there were 750. Ten years later there would be 167,000 phones and a maze of wires overhead. (Pool, Ithiel de Sola; _The Social Impact of the Telephone_; Cambridge, MIT Press, 1977.)

Technology

Mr. Bell was not the only person working on ideas that would impact telephone technology. Thomas Edison invented the first transmitter and receiver that would be practical for commercial use. He had already invented a type of multiplexing that allowed messages to be sent in opposing directions simultaneously.

Many more changes came about in the ensuing years and AT & T incorporated in 1885 to lease phones to homes and offices but maintained ownership of the technology.

Then, in the 1880's the switchboard came on board. During this time, there was no dialing, no signaling system, and no electronic switches. Callers would crank the handle; get an operator who then connects them to their party and then have their conversation. This type of system had no ringer to alert of incoming calls and no privacy due to the operator being the middle man holding the call together.

By 1946 the number of telephone callers made switchboard operators' jobs too much for people alone to handle. Nearly a quarter of a million operators were working for AT & T in 1946 but that number would decrease significantly with the invention of automatic call switching.

Although this switching system was invented in 1889, it was not until 1914 that it was installed on a large scale basis in New Jersey. Then, it was not until 1976 that the first computerized switch was put into action and by 1982 almost half of all telephone calls were switched electronically.

Turning the Century

Bell's patent ran out at the turn of the century and approximately 6000 independent phone companies opened up shop. These independent companies could only connect locally, AT & T refused to allow them to link to the national system. Instead, they waited for the little guy to go bankrupt and then bought them out.

In 1984, AT & T got out of the local telephone service at the end of a ten-year lawsuit pushing to break up the telecommunication giant. This resulted in the forming of the so called 'baby Bells'. This breakup also allowed users to own their phones and hook up their own devices to them.

Prior to the 20th century phone systems used twisted copper wires which were expensive to install and absorbed a great deal of electrical energy. The coming years would see copper wire give way to coaxial cables, then microwave stations and then telecommunication satellites.

Digital transmission, though not new, did not come into telephone play in a large way until the 1980's. Using fiber optic cables, digital transmission was up to 125,000 times faster than that of copper cable. Copper wire is still in use in many areas due to the high cost involved with running fiber optic cable to every home, though many areas have replaced the lines with fiber optic cable.

Beyond the Telephone

Having mastered the basic telephone and communication across great distances, there were still technological advances waiting to be discovered. The fax machine uses telephone lines to transmit digital signals to a modem on the receiving in which decodes the signals into messages. Then along came the mobile or cell phone.

Cell phones appeared in the early 1980's and today there are millions in use. Cell phone networks use the regular phone system connected to a computer controlled center and transmission towers to transmit messages. Originally, there were few transmission towers and the mobile phones were bulky and had to be used near towers in order to have clear transmission.

Within a few years, the phones became small enough to fit in the palm of a hand and towers were located nearly everywhere. While there are zones with poor reception, most cell phones are always in a usable zone.

Today, cell phones do much more than just allow for voice conversation, cell phones allow access to the Internet, email, business applications, pictures and much more.

Why Corporate Video Production Is Effective For Business Growth

In business, videos are used for marketing, education and even entertainment. They are powerful tools that can be used for a multitude of purposes. For these chief reasons, competitive companies allocate a sizeable portion of their operational budget to corporate video production. This has become an effective tool for business growth.

Indeed, a lot of experts say that videos are very effective in building brand awareness. In fact, marketing studies prove that businesses that have video content in their website get visitors to stay longer than business websites that do not use videos.

In addition to that, people generally prefer marketing content in a visual format, and this is the reason why online content views average 50 billion each month. Your business can attract even more people online, or even on TV, if you present your brand and its value through videos.

And when it comes to setting a good impression, videos also work extremely well on target audiences. Businesses can really make a mark and appeal powerfully to the aesthetic sensibilities of many people. Corporate film production, expert marketers say, is one of the best ways to tell the beautiful story of the business so it can become more relatable to a lot of people. It's one obvious demonstration of competitiveness because everybody knows how big a budget is allocated for video production, as well as how much work is involved in order to achieve the best final output.

People have this idea that if you're doing the same thing as the big players are, then perhaps you're an important player as well. It can be educational, as well as an effective means for businesses to expedite their processes. Many large companies actually use corporate videos in order to clearly demonstrate to their clients or customers how to complete certain processes without the assistance of support personnel.

Lastly, the videos can simplify and speed up operations by going beyond the usual hassles and mistakes of day-to-day business activities. A video can provide a fresh perspective of the business, generate more interest, appear more approachable, and perhaps, lock in more clients so that business income is increased.

Video production actually has many other benefits for business because creativity with videos depends greatly on the nature of an enterprise's operations. All in all The So, the if you wish to boost your business's performance and Ensure your competitive advantage, it's imperative to opt for corporate video production .

The Invention of the Telephone

The telephone is a wonderful invention. Since it was first introduced into the marketplace it has made a world of difference in many people's lives. The fact that the telephone can be used in an emergency situation is probably the most beneficial of all. The telephone has saved many lives over the years, and without a telephone it would be impossible for anyone to call the police, fire department or ambulance.

Since it was first invented, the telephone has gone through many of changes. The first telephone lines were run on towers that made a city or suburb look very unattractive. These days all of the cables are run underground. The first telephone was a very large rotary type device. Nowadays you can find telephones as small as the palm of your hand or even smaller – enter the cell phone.

It is Convenient

The first thing that people realized about the telephone is that it was a very easy means of communication. There was no longer the need to get on your horse with a letter and gallop down to the next street or state for that matter. You could simply pick up the receiver and dial a number to speak to the person on the other end. In the earlier days of the telephone, however, it was seen as a luxury. This meant that it was only installed in houses of people who could afford it, or who had extra money.

Today, the telephone is affordable to almost everyone, it is the lifeblood to our economy. Everyone knows that you can not run a successful business without a telephone. This device is no longer a luxury, it is a means to an end, it is a way to make you more money and keep our economy thriving. It has also allowed us to create a new form of business – namely the Internet ie e-Commerce.

Telephone Equipment

The telephone has many different types of gadgets, features and accessories that go with it these days. If you are looking for even more convenience and uses for the telephone you will need to take a look at a few of these:
